UPCOMING EVENTS
As of January 27th and through the month of
February President
Jim Tapp and Treasurer John De Vivo have, and will
be meeting with county commissioners to discuss
the building of Brevard Field of dreams park in
the County's Rhodes Park in West Melbourne.
The Parks preliminary design and the approximate
cost is done and the amount in the southern
district referendum fund is known. We now have to
negotiate with county commissioners and convince
them to spend the monies and build the first of
it's kind sports park for the disabled in Brevard
County.
SCHEDULING
Weather permitting, games will be tentatively scheduled for the months of October through November and February through March on Sundays and/or other times as needed. The hours will be from 11 A.M. To 5 P.M. These months were selected as not to over exert those who have disabilities during the hot weather. Each group of teams will play three innings for one hour. No one wins and no one loses. It’s always a tie.
